What follows is an article from Oregon Live expanding further on the streamlined and collaborative, family-oriented divorce process, WeVorce, which I am implementing in my practice this spring. I am happy to be able to offer such a rich and cost-effective process to my clients. One note of caveat related to the last paragraph of the article: in utilizing WeVorce, families also remain very much under the guidance and support of myself (or any other attorney who works with the system). WeVorce does not eliminate the attorney’s participation, but it DOES help reduce costs for families and provide a structure which is collaborative and gentle in process. I am very happy to speak with anyone interested about the process further.
